Last fall, Zagreb hosted two major athletics competitions under the auspices of World Athletics, the 72nd Boris Hanžeković Memorial and the 30th Zagreb Marathon, which took place over a period of about twenty days.
This is exactly what prompted representatives of World Athletics to launch a project in which for the first time they will combine and compare the measurement and monitoring of air quality at the "Mladost" stadium during the Hanžeković memorial and along the streets of Zagreb during the 30th Zagreb Marathon. Also, the air quality measuring device itself was installed on Ban Jelačić Square from the end of "Hanžek" until the last runner of the Zagreb Marathon entered the finish line.
